Description
ScreenProTM is ideal for use whenever
multiple video sources must be seamlessly switched to
provide a professional quality presentation. ScreenPro is
designed for live staging events, auditoriums, multimedia
presentations, educational and training events.
ScreenProTM features eight universal inputs that accept
composite video (NTSC/PAL), s-video, component, HDTV, and
computer video sources (640x480 VGA to 1600x1200 UXGA).
Folsom's Auto Signal Lock (ASLTM) technology automatically
locks to the selected source and scales it to match the
native resolution or "sweet spot" of the projection or
display device. The operator can transition seamlessly
between different sources.
ScreenProTM supports two video outputs,
Main and Preview. A variety of transition effects
including dissolves, wipes, cuts, curtain open/close,
grids, and fades with variable transition rates are
supported. Picture-in-Picture and Keying are provided to
support unique presentation effects. User-defined
configuration files can be created, stored, recalled and
edited. ScreenPro also has the ability to store a series
of up to 64 pre-programmed transition steps. This allows a
complete show to be programmed in advance and executed by
actuating a single key.
Multiple Screen User Interface (Optional)
Up to 6-screen control is available using
multiple ScreenPro High Resolution Seamless Switchers and
the FC-0608 controller. All ScreenPro functions (including
system set-up) are supported via the FC-0608. The
multi-screen controller is equipped with easy to use
menus, t-bar transition control and joystick for intuitive
adjustments. Set-up and operation is a breeze.
Typical Operation
The operator selects a video via
ScreenPro's user-friendly front panel interface. The
selected video is automatically scaled to match the
projector's native resolution and displayed on the Preview
monitor. Size, position, contrast, brightness and
color balance parameters corresponding to the selected
input source are automatically restored from a setup file.
If required, the operator can adjust any of these
parameters before transitioning the video to the Main
output. Once any image adjustments are complete, the
operator selects the type of transition (cut, dissolve or
wipe) by pressing the corresponding transition effects
key. The video is seamlessly transitioned onto the Main
screen. No projector glitches, no black screen, no
artifacts. The operator repeats the sequence of selecting
sources and transition effects to complete the entire
presentation.

The
Great Technology War: LCD vs. DLP If you are new to
the world of digital projectors, you won't have to shop around the
market very long before discovering that "LCD" and "DLP" somehow
refers to two different kinds of projectors. You might not even
know what LCD and DLP are before asking the obvious question
"which one is better?"
Want a really BIG SCREEN...then use a LCD/DLP projector and
connect your computer or even an VHS player/recorder (used as a TV
tuner) and project pictures or presentations up to 15 feet by 20
feet. (can go larger)
